Snack: Banana

Lunch: Large tomato, baby carrots

Snack: Apple, sunflower seeds

Supper: Small burger made from lean Maverick beef, Mushrooms & Onions (See Recipes), Tossed Salad (See Recipes), 2 slices of oatmeal bread, blueberry tea with Vitamin C powder

Bedtime: Tart cherry juice with Corvalen (D-Ribose), supplements, water

4 -6 apples
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup water

Slice apples into wedges. Cook in a saucepan with cinnamon, allspice, vanilla, and water over medium heat until tender. Serve with chilled almond milk or Soy Whip.

My daughter, Sarah, tried this recipe for mashed potatoes because we were out of regular milk. Who would have thought that mashed potatoes would taste even better with almond milk?

1) Peel potatoes–1 per person, slice into chunks, and boil until tender.
2) Mash potatoes.
3) Add unsweetened almond milk, Earth Balance buttery spread, salt, and pepper to taste.

Lunch: Hamburger made with lean Maverick beef, three slices of zucchini bread (from DeLand Natural Bakery), lettuce, tomato, Canola mayonnaise, 2 stalks of celery, water

Supper: Ordered out from Won Lee’s – Chicken Ding, Vegetable Fried Rice, Egg Roll, water

Bedtime: Blueberry tea with Vitamin C powder, water, supplements

2 slices of Oatmeal Bread (from DeLand Natural Bakery)
4 slices of Hormel brand Natural Choice Smoked Deli Turkey
4 leaves of lettuce
1 slice of tomato
1-2 tsp. of Canola mayonnaise

Toast oatmeal bread in the toaster. Spread mayo on both slices. Layer turkey, lettuce, and tomato on one of the slices of bread, and top with the other slice of bread. Slice sandwich in half, and enjoy!
