Fighting osteoporosis
Naturally – and winning.
I was diagnosed in 2004. Instead of accepting the standard story, I started documenting everything – What I eat, how I exercise, how much sunlight I get, what I learned about the myths about osteoporosis, and what I discovered builds healthy bones and what doesn’t. Two decades of real data, real recovery, and real faith.

WHY THIS SITE EXISTS
You don’t have to figure this out alone.

That an alkaline-dominant diet, the right supplements, daily movement, and sunshine could actually improve strength, flexibility, and healing of porous, brittle bones. So I figured it out — slowly, over years — and I wrote it all down. This site is that record.

The Daily Diet – Sunday, August 26, 2012
I don’t usually eat a 1000-calorie diet during any particular day. In fact, my usual caloric intake tends toward 1500-1800 calories per day. Once in a while though, it’s interesting that the total ends up so low, especially since I was full and satisfied all day! Breakfast: 240 1 cup of plain FAGE yogurt […]
