My doctor recommended a liquid calcium-magnesium combination supplement, along with 20 minutes of daily sunlight, to aid the healing process. Also recommended were foods high in calcium, such as collard greens, broccoli, almonds, navy beans, and spinach, as part of a well balanced diet.
