“The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your needs in parched places, and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters never fail.” Isaiah 58:11

I used to feel pressured about following this bone-building program, like the weight of the world rested on my shoulders and that I was totally responsible for its success or failure. Then one day I came across this Scripture, and it dawned on me that it was the Lord who was guiding me on this journey! He was the One who knew what my parched places were–what nutrients my body lacked and what health habits needed to be established. I made bookmarks from this verse, so that I would re-read it every time I opened my books. After following this program for six months, I notice that I never get sick anymore, even though students in my class are coughing and sneezing, and it’s then that I realize I am becoming a spring of water–a fountain of good health–whose waters never fail. It is a tremendous blessing, and I am grateful.
