It’s Holy Saturday–time to begin preparing the family feast in celebration of our Lord Jesus Christ’s victory over sin and death! With about 20 family members coming–most of whom do not embrace the alkaline diet on daily basis–I want to cook healthy dishes that will appeal to a wide variety of preferences. Here’s the menu for tomorrow’s Easter Feast:

Grilled Lamb Chops with mint jelly
Barbecue Chicken with barbecue sauce
Portuguese Kale Soup
Sweet Potato Medallions
Almond Mashed Potatoes
Green Beans seasoned with turkey bacon and onion slices
Grandma’s Pineapple Fruit Salad
Cinnamon & Raisin Apple Pie served with Soy Whip
Millet rolls and Oat Bran bread from (DeLand Bakery and Natural Market)

Family members are also each bringing a dish to share. 🙂

Happy Easter, everyone!

Kathy
