Happy New Year!  I hope this year finds you filled with hope.  As for me, after a year of slacking off , I’m happy to report that I’m back on track toward optimum bone health!

*I have given up coffee for good!  Instead of drinking coffee, I am enjoying a cup of Dandy Blend in the morning, which tastes like coffee, but contains no caffeine and is alkaline!

*I have established a new workout routine.  Since morning and evening times weren’t working, I decided to move my workout to the middle of the day!  For the past 3 weeks, I’ve walked 30 minutes around my neighborhood pushing one or two of my grandchildren in their stroller under the noonday sun, and then come home and worked out for half an hour using one of my workout DVD’s.

*I am concentrating on the joys of life, refusing to dwell on negative thoughts and emotions.  Instead, I am working toward mindfulness, the practice of looking at my thoughts and emotions in a detached way, so as to maintain my peace while deciding on a positive course of action.

*I am now faithfully taking my bioidentical hormones on schedule, which are known to build bone density.
