When fasting, whether for spiritual or health reasons, my bread of choice is Ezekiel bread. This bread was inspired by the Biblical verse, Ezekiel 4:9, which lists the ingredients. The amazing thing about combining these ingredients is that a complete protein is created containing 18 amino acids! To top it off, it’s delicious!
If you think that a bread-and-water fast is out of the question for you, it could be that you’ve been eating breads that were lacking in nutrients. Fasting isn’t supposed to starve us to death! Fasting is supposed to promote prayer, discipline, and health–including bone health. Eating nutrient-rich bread and plenty of water works for me.
Ezekiel bread is available at our local health food store, as well as at Publix. For more information about Ezekiel bread, visit:

Is it OK to eat Ezekiel bread for strong bones and ph levels?

Yes. Ezekiel bread is packed with nutrients for strong bones and a healthy body, and it can be easily balanced for an alkaline pH level by eating some greens or almond butter with it.

I usually eat 8-10 slices per day. I’ve read of other who eat less, but I don’t do well on less.
