hicken_pot_pieHere’s a family favorite that’s sure to please!

1 9″ pie crust
2 cups chicken or turkey, cooked, cut into small pieces
1 pkg gravy mix
4 carrots, diced
4 potatoes, medium, diced
2 celery ribs, diced
1 medium onion, diced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)

In a large pan, boil the carrots, potatoes, celery, onion, and mushrooms in an inch of water just until tender.  Drain.  Add chicken/turkey and gravy mix.  Stir, mixing well.  Pour into pie crust.  Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes, or until pie crust is a golden brown.
