Cut up two 6″ or four 3″ yellow summer squash into slices.
Cut up 1 large tomato, 2 smaller tomatoes, or 10 cherry tomatoes
Cut up some fresh basil–1 tblsp. or more
Mince two cloves of garlic.

Saute together in olive oil and a bit of water–enough to steam the vegetables as they cook–until the squash are slightly tender. The basil and garlic really bring out the flavor of the squash and tomatoes. Delicious!

During my appointment with Dr. Rogers this past Wednesday (8/29/07), I got to see my blood in action once again–up close and personal. Dr. Rogers’ dark field microscope viewer displayed the active blood at 6000X magnification. Much improvement was noted in the number of healthy, well-shaped red blood cells, as well as the number of free, “unstuck” cells. There was much less lipid peroxidation (biological rust) on any of the cells. Manifestations of yeast were also reduced.

However, Dr. Rogers said my blood was still not good enough. He noted some protein stuck to some of the cells, which means I am still not digesting all of the protein I eat. Remedy: More chewing! Also, I am to take Zymepro two hours after eating, so that Zymepro’s digestive enzymes will digest whatever I didn’t digest on my own. In addition, he still noted evidence of lymph congestion–that is, congestion of the fluids surrounding the cells. Remedy: Rebounding! Yup. Jumping 30 minutes everyday on a mini-trampoline. Believe me, that’s a lot of jumping! He says 30 minutes of rebounding works miracles in cleaning out the body’s lymphatic system. Well, I can’t do that much rebounding all at once, so I’m working to spread it out through the day. Finally, he recommended I put more oxygen in my blood by making a conscious effort to breathe more deeply and increase aerobic exercise.

All in all, it was good news. My weight is now 110, down from 142. I have many more healthy, free-moving red blood cells. “Continue the course,” Dr. Rogers said. He will see me again December 26th. But first, in November, he wants me to get my yearly Dexascan. I’m excited at the prospect, but nervous. I really hope my bone mass has increased. We’ll know in just three months!

Oh, and by the way, Dr. Rogers recommended another book for me to read. This one is entitled, The Metabolic Plan by Stephen Cherniske, M.S. Here’s what the back cover says: “Longer life, more energy, improved health, a pervasive sense of well-being: It’s all within our grasp. At once revolutionary and eminently practical, this is the book that finally solves the puzzle of aging.” Dr. Rogers said it is so good that he stayed up half the night reading it. I just bought it, and I can hardly wait to get started!

My bone-building diet hit a snag when the school year started and I returned to the classroom. All of the sudden my digestive tract seemed to go haywire, with loose stools and the development of hemorrhoids! I called Dr. Rogers’ office, and he suggested that I try Sonne-7, which is a blend of bentonite clay that helps eliminate toxins from the body. I tried that, but the condition didn’t go away. So, I contacted Dr. D’Antonio (See Foundations) and made an appointment for Tuesday, August 21, 2007.

Using his LAS computer system, he checked all my supplements to see if their electronic signature resonated with my body. He said all the supplements were working fine and represented money well spent.

Then he said, “Let’s check out your emotions.” Remember: Strong emotions that are not processed are stored in various organs of the body as polypeptides. Dr. D’Antonio’s LAS can detect the signatures of various emotional chemicals, and that day he hit the jackpot. My emotions that displayed on his computer screen were: “Feelings of self-denial, feelings of being strict with self, fear of loss of self-control.” He asked, “Is that how you’re feeling?”

His question brought tears to my eyes. I said, “How else could I feel right now? It’s so hard sometimes. I mean, yesterday was my birthday, and everyone else had cake, but me.”

Dr. D’Antonio then said it won’t destroy my bone-building program to let go and have a treat once in a while. The body can adjust and recover from an occasional dessert. It’s the constant, day-after-day treats and junk food that push the body beyond its ability to cope and cause disease. He prescribed two BioActive Homeopathic remedies: Bio Cherry Plum 6X and Bio Rock Water 6X to relieve upset and fear. Within two days, my stools returned to normal and the hemorrhoids disappeared! It truly amazes me the enormous effect that emotions have on the body!

So, this snag in the program has been smoothed out. Full speed ahead!

Stir together in a bowl until the lumps disappear:

1/2 cup Arrowhead Mills Kamut Pancake & Waffle Mix
1 tblsp. honey -or- a small amount of Stevia
1 tlbsp. of canola oil
1/2 cup of water
1 tsp. of vanilla (optional)
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon (optional)
1/4 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Spray cooking spray on a nonstick skillet. Cook on medium high, turning when bubbles form on top and the edges start to turn golden brown. This makes two 6″ pancakes or 4 or 5 two- or three-inch pancakes. I eat the whole recipe myself for breakfast with natural applesauce on top. Scrumptious!
